Mathematics Department
Establishment of the Department :-
As per the Government Resolution dated 17 October 2016, the Mathematics Department was established.

Objectives and Functions :-
-
1. To plan training programs to make Mathematics teachers from pre-primary to higher secondary level proficient and competent in the subject of Mathematics.
2. To develop teachers’ capacities through training and other means for enhancing mathematical concepts and mathematical abilities of every student in the state.
3. To clearly define an effective system of supervision for post-training evaluation, review, and follow-up.
4. To create supplementary learning materials for Mathematics through various media.
5. To prepare training plans and organize programs for Mathematics at the state, division, district, and taluka levels.
6. To monitor trainings conducted at the state, division, district, and taluka levels.
7. To submit feedback regarding various initiatives implemented and materials developed by private as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and to examine and certify printed as well as e-learning materials produced by such organizations and carry out further related actions.
