Establishment of the Department :-

The responsibility of state training policy, structure, planning, and teacher training for quality education has been entrusted to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Maharashtra, Pune.

Objectives and Functions :

    1) As per the State Training Policy 2011, to provide information about the Education Department and the State Training Policy to officers and employees working in the Education Department.

    2) To conduct Core Committee meetings for granting approval to proposals received from voluntary organizations in the education sector for improving educational quality.
